PCVでは、昨年に続き11月に広島で行われる平和文化月間のイベントの一つであるピースパズルに再び参加させていただく運びとなりました。
昨年は子供に焦点を当て、「子供たちが歩んだ軌跡ルート」というルートのみの実施でしたが、今年は英語版の「Peace Park Route」も同時に実施されることになりました。
「子供たちが歩んだ軌跡ルート」では、広島城から平和記念公園までを歩き、戦中・戦後の子どもたちのストーリーを知れる内容となっております。 一方、「Peace Park Route」は平和公園内とその周辺の慰霊碑等を巡る内容になっており、特に海外にまつわるスポットが中心になっております。
ピースパズルでは、実際のガイドなどはおらず、ご自身のスマートフォンを用いて巡っていただくものとなっており、ただ巡るのではなく、ご自身で考えていただくクイズやスポットでのちょっとしたミッションなど、楽しく学べるコンテンツを盛り込んでおります。
「子ども」や「海外」に焦点を当てることで、普段あまり触れることのない視点で改めてヒロシマに向きあうことができるのではないかと思います。 お子様も参加できる内容となっておりますので、ぜひご家族、友達同士などでご利用いただけたらと思います。

This November, as we did last year, PCV is pleased to participate in the Peace Puzzle, one of the events featured during Hiroshima’s Peace Culture Month.
Last year, we offered only the Children’s Trail. This year, we will offer the Peace Park Route in English at the same time.
The Children’s trail takes visitors from Hiroshima Castle to Peace Memorial Park to learn stories about children living during and after World War II. The Peace Park Route guides visitors to cenotaphs and other sites in and around the park, focusing on those related to other countries.
The self-guided Piece Puzzle event invites visitors to navigate routes using their cell phones. Fun and educational content such as quizzes and small tasks engage them at each spot.
Our focus on children and other countries is meant to help participants encounter Hiroshima through unfamiliar perspectives. Both tours are appropriate for children, so we hope that families and friends will take advantage of this opportunity.
