毎年8月6日はピースバディのメンバーと一緒にイベントを行っています。 今年は、広島のプロバスケットボールチームである「広島ドラゴンフライズ」さんが行っている「おりづるリレー」を平和公園で行うことになりました。
「おりづるリレー」とは、SDGs活動の一環として、B.LEAGUEおよびB3リーグ所属クラブをはじめ、女子バスケットボール選手、トップス広島加盟チーム、広島にゆかりのあるプロ野球選手やアーティストの皆さまのご協力のもと、平和への願いをつなぐ活動です。
8月6日に平和公園を訪れていた9カ国、31名の方と一緒におりづるを折り、「あなたにとって平和とは？」質問をして一緒に話をしました。 また、何人か許可をもらった方の動画を撮影しまとめました。 様々な形の平和について知るきっかけになればと思います。
Every year on August 6th, we hold an event together with our Peace Buddy members.
This year, we joined the “Orizuru Relay” organized by the professional basketball team Hiroshima Dragonflies at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
The Orizuru Relay is part of SDGs initiatives, carried out with the cooperation of B.LEAGUE and B3 League clubs, women’s basketball players, TOPS Hiroshima teams, professional baseball players and artists connected to Hiroshima, all working together to pass on the wish for peace.
On August 6th, we folded origami cranes together with 31 people from 9 countries who were visiting Peace Memorial Park, and we also asked them the question:
“What does peace mean to you?”
With permission, we filmed and compiled the voices of several participants.
We hope this video will serve as an opportunity to learn about the many different shapes and meanings of peace.
