JENESYS2024は外務省が推進している事業であり、ニュージーランド、太平洋島嶼国諸国からの大学生を日本に招き、「平和構築」をメインテーマに、有識者によるセミナー・視察・交流等を通じて、同分野での日本と対象国との関係構築の一層の強化を図るほか、日本の経済、社会、文化、歴史等、多面的な日本理解につながる活動を通して、対日理解を促進することを目的としています。

PCVでは平和公園のツアープログラムを担当しました。
ツアー中は質問が飛び交い、一緒に学びを共にすることができました。答えのない問いについても積極的に自分の想いをシェアしてくれて、ピースバディにとっても参加者にとっても深い学びの場となりました。

広島へ足を運び、PCVと一緒に時間を過ごしてくださってありがとうございました。

JENESYS 2024 is a program promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, inviting university students from New Zealand and Pacific island nations to Japan under the main theme of “Peacebuilding.” Through seminars, site visits, and exchanges with experts, the program aims to further strengthen relations between Japan and participating countries in this field. Additionally, it seeks to promote a deeper understanding of Japan by providing activities that offer multifaceted insights into the country’s economy, society, culture, and history.

PCV was in charge of the tour program at the Peace Park. Throughout the tour, participants actively engaged in discussions, asking many questions and sharing their thoughts. Even when faced with complex, open-ended questions, they expressed their perspectives openly, creating a profound learning experience for both the Peace Buddies and the participants.
